To Infinity and Beyound Topic Highlights

Class Two thoroughly enjoyed their Spring Term topic and here are some of the highlights!

We learnt about the first man on the moon – Neil Armstrong and the fictional man on the moon – Bob!


We studied the work of the artist B. Wurtz and produced our own ‘Spaceship Art’ in his style.


We had great fun in our reading rocket.


We also had a great time when we went to Diss High School for a Dance festival!

To Infinity and Beyond

Class Two have had a very busy half term doing lots of work about aliens and the Solar System as part of our ‘To Infinity and Beyond’ topic.

Our reading area has turned into a reading rocket!

We have created a colourful display inspired by the ‘Aliens Love Underpants’ story. You need to read our descriptions and see if you can find the alien to match.

Reading Cafe

Our reading cafe on Tuesday 15th November went very well, with lots of parents, aunties & nannies joining us in Class Two.

Class Two had a great time demonstrating their P.E. skills when we went to Diss High School on the 8th of November for the multi-skills festival.

We Can All Be Heroes

Our topic for this term is We Can All Be Heroes.

During most of our activities and lessons this term will be learning about superheroes and real life heroes.

Our Superhero Reading Area is very popular, with lots of great reading going on every day!

We have also created a Superhero City display in the corridor in response to the work of the great artist James Rizzi.



Woodlands, Wildlife and Weather

Our  Woodlands, Wildlife and Weather topic is going very well and we have learnt lots of information about different plants and trees.

Our reading area is now a Reading Garden and the children are enjoying sharing their books in there.

Stay & Learn Wednesday 10th February 2016

Thank you to all of the parents who joined us this morning for our ‘Stay and Learn’ session. It was great to see so many of you there and hopefully you were able to gain an insight into some of our approaches to teaching and learning. There will be another opportunity to ‘Stay and Learn’ in the summer term.

Our target is to achieve over 96% attendance, so well done Class 1!
