At Scole CE VC Primary School we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously. We are committed to the highest levels of well-being for our pupils and have rigorous and robust systems in place.

Our designated safeguarding lead professional is Mrs Bennett In her absence it is Mr Dunscombe. The member of the IEB responsible for safeguarding is Maureen Eade

We have a number of policies in place for safeguarding, which cover both teaching staff and volunteers. Please see the Policies section of our website.

All staff at the school undergo annual safeguarding training, delivered by a member of Norfolk County Council’s safeguarding team.

Operation Encompass

Operation Encompass has been set-up to help schools provide support to children who have been present at incidents of domestic violence. It provides early notification to education settings that police have been called to a domestic incident and Scole CE VC Primary School is part of this scheme
