The Curriculum at Key Stage 2

In classes 3 and 4 the teaching and learning follows the National Curriculum for key stage 2. Broadly speaking English and mathematics are taught every day in the mornings, focusing on reading, writing, speaking & listening, calculation, shape, space and measure. In the afternoons we provide a linked, thematic structure that incorporates the key subject objectives for science, ICT, PE, art, design and technology, music, RE, personal, social & health, history and geography. The aim is always to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which enables all pupils to achieve.
