What a busy first week back. We have come to the end of our class book – Holes by Louis Sachar, spent Wednesday afternoon mixing cement, sugar, Andrew’s salts and a variety of other equally messy things with water, begun some splendid story writing, translated and reflected shapes in maths and attempted Twinkle, Twinkle on the violin!
Year 6 also enjoyed a transition activity on Thursday where they heard about the amount of homework they can expect in year 7 – apparently I don’t hand out that much after all!!
Year 5 began swimming lessons and were impeccably behaved which is great to hear.
Well done class 4 – a great start to the summer term.
