We have had a fabulous R.E lesson today! We are going to be looking at the Sikh religion and how Sikhs put their beliefs into practice but before we do that we had a think about ourselves. We realised that although we may not all have a belief in a god we do all have beliefs.

Mrs Minns set the challenge of thinking how far would we go to prepare for an important cross country race. We then lined up to show how much effort we would put in to our preparations. Then the really interesting bit…justifying our position! The discussion was great….some of us thought about our motives – would we put in more effort if it was to benefit a charity? Some os us focussed more on our time for training, our natural ability v our desire to do well etc etc.

Although we look like we just stood in a line, it was much, much more!
