Gymnastics – Spring Term 2018
A selected group of pupils from years 3,4 & 5 also has the amazing opportunity to spend a morning at the National Academy of Gymnastics at Attleborough. As well as receiving coaching from the staff at the Academy the pupils used the purpose built facilities and equipment. They worked in small groups and, after a warm up, rotated around 5 stations of activities covering vault, bars, beam, floor and the fast track. If you would like to look at the Academy’s facilities please visit www.tnag.co.uk.
The pupils were a credit to themselves and Mrs Vosper and Mrs Goldsmith were very proud of them all. The coach from the sessions also send the following feedback “” It was a pleasure to have the children. Without doubt they are the best behaved and most respectful school children we have had at the gym and a credit to the school and their parents.”
If you are interesting in looking into further gymnastics opportunities after school, Spring Gymnastics runs at Diss High School and is already attended by a number of our pupils. You can visit their website – www.spring-gymnastics.co.uk for more information.
Here are some of our photos. As you can see everyone had a great time and loved jumping in the foam pit! The feedback from the pupils was brilliant and to watch their progress over a morning was an excellent confirmation of the use of our Sports Premium Funding monies to facilitate this trip.
Well done everyone.
